I am thinking of starting a collaborative journal.
Which simply means I start a journal with a theme, and mail it to someone. That someone mails it to someone else, and so on until its done, and then its shipped back to me, and I can mail it around once more so everyone can see it, or post pictures of it online. Either way, its a way to connect with people all over the world, and share a common bond (IE whatever the theme is).
Whoever thinks this might be interesting and something you would like to do, leave me a comment and ill get in touch with you. You must be willing to pay for shipping at least once, and have no qualms about sharing a journal page with strangers. And you definitely must be willing to do a page in a timely manner, and keep in contact with me throughout the process.

Hey girl! What a fabulous idea. Perhaps you could do this electronically so there's no physical book to mail everywhere...and what if it were to get lost? Eeek! :)
ReplyDeletePart of the process of "letting go" is surrendering the book and what you put into it to someone else. We did it in a class of mine, and it was very therapeutic. And electronically you lose the real hand to paper feel. I could however send out a mass email with a theme, have everyone HAND assemble a page and then just mail that to me? :)
