Sickness...and Sewing Frenzy!

We can start with the sewing frenzy since it ends on a happier note. I have taken up sewing because I really like the idea of making cool things instead of buying them. So my husband bought me a really good sewing machine at a really good price (gotta love the hubby's that research for the right one) and I had previously made our ring pillow for our wedding on my mini machine. Now with a bigger one, I made Rilee's Halloween Costume (Minnie Mouse) and for my first go at following a pattern and using a new machine I am very happy with the results. My next project is a pillow for her toy chest so she can use it as a bench as well. I told my husband that I think I'm addicted.

The following part my be too "gross" for some so heres some pics to look at while you decide if you want to read on or not...

The next best thing to the patch, since shes been so sick and we couldn't go.

Now onto the dreaded SICKNESS: My poor child has had some sort of stomach ailment for going on 2 weeks now. Both ends spewing out significantly more than shes taking in, and one doctor said food allergy, then her pediatrician said lactose, and upon feeding her one meal of "soy" products, she proceeded to projectile vomit, exorcist style ALL OVER the living room floor. The poor thing felt so bad for "coughing" on the floor. (She calls puking coughing.) And this morning when she woke up the other end "coughed" on her bed. Shes still in diapers... yet we had soaking wet clothes, sheets, legs, etc. and again later this afternoon. My 3 ft child was able to cover great areas with her waste products. I am worried that this WHATEVER "this" is, isnt something I should be more concerned about. The worst part is last night right before she threw up, she started crying like she does when shes either REALLY hurt or REALLY scared, and upon picking her up, THAR SHE BLEW!
Maybe she should stop the soy and the dairy (shes been on soy milk 1.5 years) Maybe just toast and water until her belly isnt painful anymore. Anytime she hurts shes doubled over in pain crying...and its a constant "my belly hurts" from her. And she wont eat. UGH...my poor baby.

I need help collecting the Mcdonald Game Pieces.

Obviously if I win I will split the prize if you would like. I figure each state/location gets a different batch and if we come together our chances increase. Comment back if youre interested in sending me any.
I use the codes on them for the online game as well as collect the pieces.
Thanks to anyone that wants to help.
Vanessa
PS more wedding pics from the photographer came I will post them later!

Decorating the "Owwie"

So this morning Rilee woke up and cried that she was "stuck" in bed. Now my 2 year old has been exploring her words and being stuck typically meant she was wrapped up in something. So I went in there and she claimed that her knee hurt and she didn't do her normal stand up and walk off her bed routine. I set her on the carpet and she collapsed and and whined that it hurt her. We thought that maybe her leg fell asleep and waited a little bit longer and tried again. Again she collapsed and so we decided I would take her to the ER (since its Saturday and her doctors office is closed) LONG hospital story short... they took x-rays and fidgeted with it. She has 1 of 3 things wrong. Her knee cap is split in 2 due to hopefully *fingers crossed* growth plates. Or she has fluid in her knee from a previous fall that should be drained. OR hopefully not *fingers DOUBLE crossed* her cold she caught is causing her body to attack itself. She got it wrapped... and got to decorate it with stickers. She also got some heavy drugs to help her sleep through the night since last night she woke up twice. We shall see how it goes...here are some pics from the day!

Throw the rice in the air, let the church bells ring....

We did it! We made it down the aisle in one piece and we had an amazing time with our family and friends. Thank you all who came, and sorry to those who couldn't make it on our special day! Here are some pictures of the festivities.

A little blurb I wrote for Rilee's Classroom!

My family consists of Mommy Vanessa, Daddy Jason, a little blue fish named Beta Beta, (RIP Alpha Beta), and ME, little Miss Rilee Anne!
When I am not at the Children’s School (for Me) or the Grown Up’s School (for mommy), we like to go to the lake, and river and swim, Swim, SWIM! We also like to go to the park, and on family adventures. I like very much to visit my grandparents in Livermore, and daddy gets to take me there a lot because mommy works on weekends.
We like to eat lots of different things. Mommy likes chicken wings and ice cream. Daddy and I both like pizza…a LOT, and I LOVE pancakes and/or French toast. I will usually ask at least once a day for one of them, and I will usually eat more than mommy and daddy combined. I don’t know where it all goes, maybe I giggle it out.
My family is unique because my daddy is marrying my mommy soon, and then we are going to be one big happy family. It used to be just mommy and I, but she doesn’t throw me in the air as high, so I think it is ok to keep Jason around. He is good for other things too like putting me to bed at night, and making sure my pool is clean to swim in, and making sure my mommy is happy because she is loved. He is a very good daddy!
We celebrate all the holidays, especially the fun ones like my birthday. I am going to be “free” this year.
